Default Good Cobra painter needed

Hello all. I am currently looking for a good paint shop that is experienced painting Cobras, who is located in the Southern California area. The paint job doesn't need to be a top level show quality job, but if I can get to that level and still have a durable finish that will stand up to street driving, then I would go that way. The Cobra will probably have strips and numbers. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom

There is a hotrod shop in Escondido CA that specializes in custom rod paint jobs. One of the fellas there, Mike, used to own a SPF. I stopped by to see their work and it is fantastic. I thought they were a bit expensive though. He thought a paint job on my ERA, including body work would be in the 8-10K range. If you would like more info let me know and I'll give you the contact info.

OH by the way if you are anywhere near Oceanside, I would LOVE to see your ERA....I'm about a month away from production.

ERA Tom,
Slide is getting his car painted in the Ventura area for around 4k. Evidently the guy is real reputable. I have gotten a few quotes even lower than that but I wasn't sure that the quality would be high as I would like. I'm doing my own body work & will likely have the car shot by someone when I'm finished. Maybe I'll wait to see how Slide's car turns out. What area are you in?

I've seen photos of Jeff's work and they are excellent. Everyone who has had him paint their car is very happy with the result.

I would certainly contact him. I think it would even be worth sending the body from a few states away for him to work his magic.

regards
Doug I
