Question What bike other than a Harley is parked next to your Cobra

Harleys are great but there are other real cool rides that are a nice compliment to a Cobra. Here's mine and its for sale, too.

I have a grocery basket parked next to my Cobra. Everytime I get the urge, I squeeze into the child seat and start making loud engine noises!

Talking Several...

My Yamaha V-Max (Mad Max) 1200 v-4 power cruiser, and my Suzuki DR650E enduro, and my #1 babe's Kawasaki 250 Super Sherpa enduro. I just rode my Mad Max bike tonight, ( www.madmax.com ) over to the tranny shop where my transmission/clutch problems are almost over, but my motor troubles have just begun.. we are gonna have to pull the motor and have it completely checked, since my manufacturer blew the Edelbrock intake install, by using the gaskets on the end of the intake instead of RTV... (Not the only thing he blew.. expose' including pics coming soon) coolant got into my engine and damaged my main and slightly my rod bearings. Looks salvageable but will cost me some for a complete hot tank and restoration. We are gonna pull the motor soon. But at least it will finally be done right, and dyno'ed... and at least it's winter and the best time for this And I have my Max to drive

I have an '81 Yamaha 850 triple with faring and bags. It was the first model to carry the Venture name, with a stick on label that got lost some where along the way.

I bought the bike new, have licensed, insured and ridden it every year since. It just rolled over 83,000 miles. It has always been reliable and has taken quite a bit of abuse over the years.

I am hoping it can hold out for another year +, which is when I plan on getting a new bike, most likely a Harley.

I have an old 1974 Yamaha RD350 2-stroke crotch-rocket next to my Lister if that counts. Not as cool as the MV Agusta but a classic in its own right.

Very nice MV Agusta. I currently have a Yamaha FJR 1300, love the bike. Also hanging on the wall is a Merlin XL titanium road bike (bicycle) which I race and a Santa Cruz Superlight mountain bike which I also race. The racing is in my blood and keep me young.

1984 Yamaha FJ1100

First NEW vehicle I ever purchased. Just after I graduated Highschool. Still runs like "Jack the bear" (even though in its day it was about the "baddest of the bad" but today there are any number of 600's that will run it easy).

It may be sacrilege to say here but as much as I love the Cobra when I really want to have fun, relax,or let off some steam, I grab the keys to the bike before the Cobra. Sorry...

Have a good one,
Dan

1982 Honda V45 Magna. Bought it new soooo many years ago and it still looks like it came off the showroom floor. Only 6000 original miles. Will be an antique soon so maybe I will be able to unload it for a few bucks. Needless to say that I don't ride it much. Just pay for license and insurance.

I'm still putting the pieces back togeather, after a spectacular crash that left aforementioned pieces scattered along a block of Geary Blvd. More lessons learned about blocked intersections.
