Dave,
The secret is this...Spray the the whole front of the
emblem with Krylon spray paint. Let it dry to the touch then wipe the emblem with a thinner rag. The rag should just be damp and not saturated. I did some of these once and I took and hung the thinner rag up tight with bungies and kept it damp. Then I wiped the emblem across it until the thinner removes the top surface of Krylon.

Pat,
I thought when you said enamel you meant the real stuff, not the paint. I never thought about the paint thought...come to think of it, that just might really work.
Lots of things to test...
Thanks for all the help.

I told my wife about the SEMA car and asked her if I could bid on it. She agreed to let me do it but I had to agree to put my scrotum up on ebay as soon as the car was delivered..
I'm going to have to think about this a little longer.. I'm kind of
attached to that darn thing...
I'm thinking, I'm thinking.............

$75,200 winning bid. Congratulations to the lucky winner. They got an amazing looking car with a bit of history. While that history doesn't look to have affected the pricing too much, I bet it'll prove to be an interesting talking point over the years.

SEMA Car
Dave,
Well, it may have taken me three years but I finally got my cobra: Your beautiful SEMA Show Masterpiece! I have been in serious negotiations with Finishline, LV and ran across your link in the Cobra Club, saw the car and decided I had to have this one. I called my friend "Wicked" who buys and sells on ebay all the time, and asked him to put in a bid and bingo - come 0300 EST it was mine.
I first met you and the family back in December 2001, when I brought my son Michael down from our wintering place in Park City to visit your outpost. We had our video camacorder in hand and you kindly spent the morning with us showing off your art work. I came a second time in April of 2002 and finally with David my younger son, in December of 2002. I was in the throws of buying a Shebly version of your car in LV when I just got tired of constant movement on delivery and cost. Then I saw your car from your link on Cobra Club and away went my heart.
Looking forward to seeing you and your industrious family and getting the car on the road.
BV

The one with the car by itself in the display.
Once again you have built an awsome car.

BV,
Many thanks for purchasing the car. The car is more beautiful than any other car we have ever done. I am sure you will be happy.
We look forward to working with you on the finishing touches.

Pat,
Yes, my email is working...I think? No one has said I have any problems.
We are currently making a run of 50 emblem sets. All, please speak now, or forever hold your peace!
