Have never timed the Cobra for the 0 to 60, or the 1/4 mile.

For general comparison purposes, the Road and Track test of the 2002 Z06 with 405 HP had the following:

0 to 60: 4.7
1/4 mile 13.1 @ 111.0 mph
Weight 3270

The R & T comparison to a Porsche 911 Carrera was 4.9 for 0 to 60 and 13.4 @ 105.1 MPH for the 1/4 mile with a weight of 3345

Advertised top speed of the Z06: 171 mph

On the Corvette forum, there has been mention of 1/4 mile times in the high 11's and 118 to 119 MPH. Modifications were different street tires ( not drag slicks ), aftermarket exhaust (using factory headers ) , modified cold air box , Hurst short throw shifter and adjusting the tire pressure. The 2002 Z06 405 HP cam profile favors high performance above 4,000 RPM, GM likes the high top end speed for comparison to other sports cars.

Since there are so many different Cobra engine choices, transmission and rear end ratios, somewhat difficult to compare the Cobra and the Z06. However, the Z06 times are with a cup holder.
