If you're in PA and can wait till March then I would say go to the Carlisle kit car show. Most of the manufacturers are there and you can walk from one car to the next comparing differences. Thats what I did and came away feeling very, very comfortable about my choice. SPF's probably would have been my second choice but it might have squeezed my wallet a little too much. Some differences that I noticed with the SPF's were bigger brakes, true vented brakes, at the time more color choices and stainless steel cladding on the engine compartment walls that actually had spacing behind it for cooling purposes, simple but yet smart idea.
One thing to look at if you compare Team C's car to a BDR is the width. Team C's tires tend to extend out from the body a bit. (not my taste) BDR made their body a tad wider to accomodate this. BTW there's a BDR dealer in PA. (Tri-state Motorsports)
