Default Do You Have A "Pet Name" For Your Cobra??

On a recent business trip, a collegue asked me that very question... "Do you have a Pet Name for your Cobra?"

Of Course I replied... It's "Half Full"

He knotted his brow and asked for an explaination...

Well, My Wife gave the Cobra that name. 'Cause whenever she looks at the Fuel Gauge.... it reads.... HALF FULL.

Conspicuous Consumption... you know.... Ahem.

(Previous Owner called the car DOOM. I did'nt like that name much, remided me of Dr. Doom from the Marvel Fanstasic 4 Comics. Dr. Doom was a bad guy. Kinda Like Darth Vader in fact.)

Anyhooo.... HALF FULL is a dame.

What is your Cobra's NAME.... and Gender?

Fess up... (And Least I forget... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Y'all!)

When they run well, every nice word. When they act up, several expletives usually in vivid combinations, repeatedly with passion.

No, but I call my truck HOSS.

I do like MAXVELO though, or how about Max Power.
(as in Homer Simpson changed his name to.)

I had an old musclecar that my wife and I used to call "The Beast".

I have a feeling that when I acquire an SPF sometime soon, the name will stick with that one, too.

"Ethyl" - after the old gas pumps.

Even at $1.80 a gallon, I still have a smile when I fill it.

I also refer to my car as "The Beast".

If you think Cobras consume a lot of money, try sailing. My boat's name is Mistress. It is the only thing, besides another woman, that could make me spend that much money.

I affectionately call it "zit"! Owning this is worse than being seriously ill and belonging to a HMO. I applied Clearasil/Zoop Seal amply to the entire body but it still looks like a 13 year old going through puberty. I never know what it will look like in the morning. To top it off, I think it has wet dreams!

A "pet" name for the car? My Jack Russells name is Jack, I tried calling the car Jack....didn't sound right and the dog was totally confused.

I think I'll keep referring to it as "the car".

I suppose I could call it something really cool like " The Thunderous Beast from Hell" or something, but it isn't running yet so that ould be a stretch. Maybe something will come to me after it is running.

I was out in the garage last night practicing different names on the car........none seemed to work and my wife was about to call 9-1-1 so I stopped.

I asked my 17 year old if he could think of a name for it and he looked at me like I was 35 years older than he is. Then he said "it's a car?" - like I was an idiot and didn't know!

I guess I'll stick to "the car" for now.

I call it "my car."

My prior vehicle was called, "my last car"

The new one coming, I have decided to call it, " my next car."

I do refer to my daily driver, however, as, "my other car"
