Hi AJ
You refer to your engine as a "514 C". Does C stand for crate? Just curious because you also mention 640HP. The Ford Racing 514, out of the box configuration dynos at 600HP. How is your configured? I have a 514 crate in My SPF and just wondering how I can get a little more out of it....
Thanks
Craig

Thanks AJ - gotchya
Mine is the C also... Dah.. You'd think I would have figure that out. I bought mine before the new heads were available though. And I agree, I don't think it would be worth the cost so swap heads this point.
I'm not getting advertised HP anyway because of changes I've made. I run a Holley 850DP, Performer RPM intake and I changed to a hydraulic flat tappet cam because of problems I had initially with valve springs breaking. On a chassis dyno, I pull 444rwhp and 520rwtq. From playing around with different configurations and observing other SPF 514's, I'm not sure a whole lot more can be achieved without improving exhaust breathing. The exhaust system seems to be a limiting factor, unless of course, you introduce something like a blower or NOS.
I now have 10,000 miles on mine and it’s been a blast every time I get in it!! Enjoy!!

Congratulations,
That's a great combination and I'm very envious of the 17"wheel treatment.
I also traded in a C5 Corvette for my Superformance and I have never regretted it.
Welcome to the club.

Thank you. They are the P.S Engineering wheels with Pilots 335/35 and 275/40 x 17. Hoosier makes the same size road race and autocross tires. I would hold on to the 15" setup also for the correct look if you ever want to sell it. You already have the FE in there! Your car is a beauty.
