New Guy needing some advise
I am looking for a good vender for general parts. Like roll bar rings that mount to the body, shifter boot and ring, dash panel for gauges and stuff like that. I have been doing some looking around and just have not found what I need. Price is out weighed to me by customer service but I stil do not want to spend an arm and a leg for this stuff.
If you would feal more at ease about your opinion on a venders please just shoot me an email. I am trying to get a nargument going on who is stand up and who isn't but would like to know who I can deal with and who not to.
Please inlightin this newbie to the cobra world.

Hi all
Must agree Finishline have sent some items to me on the other side of the world. Packaged well and no damage. Price ok even when you consider the conversion of the dollar.
They are on the site www.finishline.com.
Correct me if I'm wrong. I found them through the forum here and ordered.
Good luck with the project there.
Cheers
Bernie

Not to hijack your thread, but I took a quick look at your web page....The Cobra you have shown there does not appear to be an FFR.......

That car has been for sale for some time, but I can't remember what the brand was. Look through the CC for sale section and you should find it.

I find Finishline one of the best. I would pay 5% more just to know I am dealing with such nice people who DO care about your needs.

Finishline, Cobra Restorers, Tony Branda, to name three that quickly come to mind.

Steve, I searched and cannot find it either. If it comes to me I'll post it. As I recall the car I am thinking of was in Florida.
And I also endorse Finishline. I've bought enough stuff from them they ought to send ME a Christmas present

I found his user name of vettebob...but no for sale ad under that name. Also I see where he did not know what the body was...Someone said LA Exotics.

Yes, I remember this car now......A custom built chassis (not a production chassis of any kind) using a "Ebay special" body only. if you do a search of the user "vettebob", you can see he scrounged around for any parts he could get his hands on...Now of course, this is not to say it is not a well built car (I would have to see it up close and personal to make any other judgement), just that it is not associated with any kit manufacturer in general..........If memory serves me correctly, this was up on Ebay back in September or October of this year as well.........................The gas tank/fuel cell is the dead giveaway on this............

Steve,
Just checked your site. Nice chassis/frame!! Looks very well built and should be a good race setup
Also looks like the engine bay is permanently setup for a SB. Very interesting. Good luck with your project.

Yea the motor sits way back....I think it is going to be fun. He told me that it was either an FFR or CMC body...Who Knows but it is all one pc with no cracks and looks like a cobra and is titled as a 67 Ford Cobra model 2s..... Thanks everyone for the advice...Now I have to get to work!

Hi all
Should be able to identify the body quickly as FFR etc. I thought a New Thread - What body is that??
Then you will be confused as a dozen or so claims come on Posts.
I'm sure the guys at FFR would be able to identify the body as theirs??
Cheers - again have fun completing the build.
