When I bought my wife a mink coat years ago I told her I did't want to hear a word when I bought a Cobra. She has never complained! I don't volunteer any prices, but when she does ask I tell the truth.

My wife knows. She helped me find it and it was her money I used to pay for it.
But, I can't complain when she takes it for a spin before I come home from work.
Anyway, it is not meant to stay in the garage and in the east, it rained every weekend this past summer.

Hi all
I tell the boss and she signs the cheques.
Works ok until she gets into the clothing shops and she reminds me how much I have been spending.
Who can argue
Cheers

Yes
My Wife is my partner in everything.
She knows what I spend on everything.
She's the one that plans trips and events, I just work... all the time.

Only if she asks! Otherwise, as long as my hobbies and toys don't denay my kids college or crimp her lifestyle, she is fine with it.
As she once told me, as long as the other woman is the cobra, she has no problem.

Are you nuts? Actually my wife does't bother me about car costs anymore. Down through the years I have bought and sold so many. Sometimes I've made a few bucks here and there and I've used that money at times to buy our house, buy furniture or other high ticket stuff. It works both ways. Another point is, I have been married so long that we both have learned that we can both do different things and it's really O.K. So we've both learned that a major cost purchase is not a subject for war as it was when we were younger.

My wife really has no clue about what's tied up in the garage. She usually finds out about a new car when the transport pulls up or a friend calls and says "I heard Tim bought a new car". If she does find out, she says "that's too much". When I sell she says, "that's not enough". She's a good one, she thinks my Cobra is real and she still thinks it was too much money.

My wife married into the Cobra, but everything I have spent since I met her she knows about. She was even buying stuff for it before we married. She still buys stuff as gifts for me. The last was a set of polished aluminum valve covers.
She has the spare keys and can drive it, but would rather I took her for a ride. She is asking to go this weekend as a matter of fact.
