backdraft cobra from anthem motors
Got my backdraft in last Tue night from Anthem motors in phoenix. I have never driven another cobra relica so I cant compare it to any other mfg but it handles great!!!!!! I got the 392 stroker and its got gobs of torque, No way to get it to hook up with 3.10 gearing in 1st or 2nd gear. Fit and finish was exc, that was backdrafts part, the engine and tranny work was done by anthem as well as oil cooler and finishing the car up. Its as good as they get. Attention to detail, nothing left out. I was thrilled to see it. Complete install was perfect and spotless. Every line was stainless steel, every thing tucked away neat, Its simply awesome. I have seen some home built cobras thet were nice, but I have never seen a better or cleaner job than this one. Anthem realy did a outstanding job. Its mush better than I imagined, I am really happy with backdraft and anthem motors.
the second day I had it it caused a wreck on or main drag, a guy couldnt keep his eyes off it and drove off the road, over a curb and hit a 4 runner...so you can say its a real head turner! I posted pcis to my profile, I can send you much bigger more detailed pics if you like. IF I had to do it again, I would do a backdraft in a heartbeat and would have Anthem motors do the work. Everything is flawless inside and out and I am very hard to please. I am glad to finally have it!!!
