Default Waterpump direction

I bought a car somewhat done and I have to change some things. Which direction does the waterpump turn on a 351w? If you are looking at the motor from the front end. Will it rotate counter clockwise or clockwise? I am hooking up the KRC powersteering on the car and the previous owner converted it over to a serp system except for the pump pulley. I had to order it from KRC last night. I need to know as I am going to have to go and buy another belt and I want to route it the correct way from the start.

Thanks in advance.

A standard rotation water pump turns clock-wise looking at the front of the engine a reverse rotation pump turns counter-clockwise standing in front of the engine.
Your dilema is which water pump is on your engine; is it standard or reverse rotation. 351s can come both ways.
It will seriously effect how your engine cools if you have the water pump turning the wrong direction.
The two pumps usuallt have a different bolt spacing on the 4 pulley bolts.
I don't remember which is which; I'd have to look when I get home tonight.
HTH,
Mike

Mine had the standard v-belt pulleys on it from the factory. The guy before me changed it over to serp. I just wanted to make sure before I changed my ps pump pulley and routed the new belt.
