Evan,
if you think my posts were just about you, you really are pompous. Can't play anymore, off to the hospital for chest xrays and blood work for my son.

No they weren't just about me? How about primarily about me? If not who else where they about here? Amazing how you can direct things in my direction clearly intended for me but then deny that they are intended for me because you didn't mention my name. Wow, very clever. Don't mention any names then you have deniabilty. What a joke. Its so transparent. Thats OK. Its type of double talk dribble laced with insults I would expect from the xxx crowd. Typical.
Not directed at me? What a crock of $hit.

Who are these comments directed to? You don't mention a name.
Sorry! just couldn't resist. Besides I think Bill had to leave.
Speaking of Bill, I must have my head in the sand (usual position) or something..... what the heck is wrong with his son?

I have to admit,it has taken some getting used to for me ,I slowly realized the cool motor heads i hang out with when I was younger, arent the same guys who ended up with the cool toys today, but more than likely the nerdy guys who had their heads in books and belonged to the beta club.
I think it's all good, could it be the motor heads just didnt have enough ambition ? so they are still changing someone elses oil dreaming of that street rod,I dunno, but I say the more the better, I feel fortunate to have seen a bit of both worlds,I am a motorhead for sure, but you can clean me up and take me to town with out being TOO embarrased,,haha
I do belive the all billet, perfect 75k street rods, and the 25k factory custom bikes have much less character then the primered coupe with an olds engine and no interior, amazes me when i go to bike runs or shows, the 40 or 50 k custom bikes ,or the tacky harley factory customs, will sit alone while everyone oogles at the home built shovel with a jocky shift and an oil puddle,,old school is always cool,,Tim
we all be different,,thats what makes it fun,,

Evan,
True to form you take only what you want to personally, then discard the rest. if your feeling that I attacked you personally, then for that I am truly sorry..But at the same time, perhaps your bring these things on yourself. Your style of posting, your general mannerisms, attitude, and such. Being paranoid is not a bad thing, it's when you actually think that everything is about or directed solely at you that there is a real problem at hand.
Rick,
My son is fighting what we hope is just the flu, however, given his past medical history, and the past two days of fever spikes (as high as 104.1), we were not going to take any chances that this could turn in to pneumonia. In and out of the local hospital in under two hours...Sometimes it pays to have your name recognized.........
Sincerely,
Bill S.

Bill, with all the flu scare going around! I hope everything turns out fine. My 9 year old son has been home with the flu the last two days as well. Fortuniatly he is getting better. I am sure he will be up and about in no time, but like you said, better to play it safe.

Rick,
Considering that Josh has never had more than the common cold (ok, chicken poxes, but even that was a very mild case), after his spinal surgery of two years ago, especially now, we do not want to take any chances. His primary pediatrician is on vacation, my friends who are both pediatricians are on vacation (it's a pediatric conspiracy I tell you), , the pediatrician we saw yesterday only swapped his throat for strep, did not even take his temperature, or listen to his chest......Instilling confidence is not what I consider his strong point.....So we took it up to the next level today.....We'll await the results and go from there................
Sincerely,
Bill S.

That does not sound like a good pediatrician visit! We LOVE our pediatricians. Even when they where out of network we kept them. They have been with us since before the kids where born. We interveiwed a number of them. The practice we go to has four doctors, a number of nurses, 24/7/365 on call. I feel for you man. When you want some answers about your children, you want them NOW.

Hhaarrumph..
Well. I'm not a pediatrician but I pretended to be one when my kids were kids.
Sure cure - Hot cup of tea, tablespoon of honey, just a dash of lemon juice, and a shot of Jack Daniels. Drink while hot. Cures unbelieveably well.
Never did try this on kids but works real well on adults. Maybe just a half-shot for them.

The hospital has seen it's fair share of my family on the varies boards...Myself included. Enough people around that still know who I am, if not, I get the "are you related to (insert my fathers name here)".........
Bill S.
PS: Yes, some of the doctors know me as mrmustang for obvious reasons.

I may try TPB's remedy tonight- minus the tea, lemon and honey of course- and I'm not even sick!
