Cobra Being Built
Well after 2 years of saving and waiting, my ERA is being built in January. I am having Peter build and a local engine builder by the name of Tony Carey, put together an awesome 427 SO with all the goodies.
Thinking of having the car painted Rangoon Red with Silver Stripes. Rear will be 3:31 with a top loader wide ratio. Going to have radio in glove box as I need my sounds. Really excited.
I will keep you guys posted. Regards and have a great holiday.

Shaps/ How Long
Shaps,
Peter thinks by the middle of Feb. to be complete as far as the car goes. I am having the engine shipped to him. I am also using the painter he reccomended (Conn. Custom Car). I have seen their work and it is excellent. I also asked Peter if he could do anything to quiet the exhaust and he is going to put something in the side pipes to quiet down a little. Still want a great sound but I do like my music. I have a Harley so I am use to loud but not extreme if you know what I mean.
I live in Massapequa. I work in Farmingdale. I own a Thermo King Dealership if you know what that is. Really enjoy my life. Just adopted a little girl from Russia. (11 months) Have a 7 year old and now she is the "Big Sister".
Wish all you people a great and happy!
God Bless
Regards
MRud

Just looked at your pix. Beautiful KMP. By the way, where do you live. Has to be Brookville or Somewhere Like that. Wish I had a 3 car garage. Enjoy.

MRud,
February.... Cool! Bet the time will fly! Congrats on your little ones. Truly great stuff!
Good guess on locale, i'm in woodbury.
Thanks for the kind words, very happy with the KMP. The Kirkhams are a pleasure to work with (as I have heard with ERA as well).
Shoot me a PM or email, we're not that far.....
Happy Holidays and All the Best in the coming year!

Trakker Camera Mount
Shaps:
Noticed the Trakker Camera mount in the pictures, could you provide some details, looks like the mount has springs to reduce shake ? Is it high enough to capture the video from above the windshield ?
................thanks

Trakker Mount
Don,
that was an old design that someone had asked about...
i was looking into camera mounts for a while, and that seemed promising. The people who made it seemed to think their replacement was better.
My intention was to mount on the roll bar, so, by construction, i think it would have been above the windshield.
never closed the deal on that one. Anyone else have a positive experience with a camera mount?
Happy Holidays!
