Cobra Presents!
So, What did you get for your Cobra for Christmas? What did you YOURSELF get, as in Cobra-related stuff/memorabilia/clothing? My sister gave me a set of plexiglas/Lexan wind/stone deflectors from Finishline Accessories, the ones with "COBRA" etched along the lower edge.

Nothing fancy this time around....a safety wire pliers and some .041 wire. And I prepared "the crib" (i.e. spent the last week spit shining the ENTIRE garage) for the arrival next week. You could perform open heart surgery in there now without fear of dust.

P.S. But I'm already eye-balling Father's Day for an accusump.

Lettss Seee...
1) Really nice Miller High Life Tin Adverstising sign with a picture of a blue cobra on it. Sign is about 40 inches by 20. Nice garage item.
2) A Craftsman 10 drawer tool chest for the tools. The ball bearing drawers. Nice, in red. "To contain is all."
3) A few spools of .041 safety wire and a second Milbar wire pliers for the barn.
4) A Sears battery tender/minder charger. Nice little unit to keep the battery topped off on trickle.
Funn stuff.

A hard back Cobra book, called "Haynes Great Cars AC COBRA The truth behind the Anglo-American legend"
I just started reading it, but so far it's very good.

Nothing for the Cobra here, but I did have a great Christmas. As a belated gift I did give the Cobra a second coat of primer yesterday. She's coming right along!

Took a ride down to Summit Racing today with Dan Streyffler and bought a Ford emblem wing nut for the air filter...all I have to do now is find someone to install it....
Out of 12 upgrades for the Cobra this winter, that's all I've got done so far...
Tomorrow for sure I'm gonna start....or maybe the next day...

Since I couldn't count on Santa to get the right thing, I was forced to be good to myself this Christmas. So I bought a massive stainless steel toolbox from COSTCO and a RaceDeck floor for my garage.
Now that it looks like a professional garage, I may have to attempt to change the oil or something.
