Hopefully you getting your number is good news for me as well. I am also working with Armond and he mentioned you and I would be getting numbers today. I have not heard anything yet, but I am sure he will provide an update in the AM. Let me know if you did anything different.

Today 1/7, I had to go back to the car registration place. The DMV forgot to give my Temporary Sticker (pink window one) to them yesterday. They also forgot form #124, so off they went again. I am having them mail it to me.
As for your number, they said they were working on another one, but I didn't hear the results! There should be plenty left! Luckily all the mistakes were made on my application, so you should be in good shape! The problem I have is my window sticker is a number 2. That means I have until the end of February to get all the other registration nonsense completed. I did learn that extensions are available. I hope so as the CHP has no appointment times open at present!
If your car is not even here yet, you may have a similar problem! When is it due? It will probably take Armond a week or so to put yours together if he has his schedule clear. He was completing another car today, so he should be OK.
I'll have to check the website to see what color your are ordering. I hope you like yours as much as I do mine. So far, just 100+ miles, most of them today as I am finally legal! What a great handling car. The ride is superior to any other replica I have been in so far. I won't tell you which ones to keep from setting off the fireworks around here! It helps that I am a BMW fan.
I spoke with Armond this afternoon and they were needing to verify my VIN against the SB100 application. I forgot to mention to him that I would need to get a 90 (or more) day permit as my car will likely not be road ready until mid-March (hopefully).
I did things a little differently with my car. I ordered the roller unpainted as my only BDR consistent concern was some of the body work and paint. Armond and his guys are going to spend some extra time and tlc on the body and then have it painted in San Diego. I am going with titanium metallic with black or charcoal stripes. I ordered the interior with black carpet and charcoal grey door panels, dash and seats, but there may be a problem with this, which would leave me with an all black interior. In addition to reassembling the vehicle, soft top and a few other options, Armond is also put a aluminum polished insert on the hood and aluminum in the wheel wells to protect ding/spider cracks, road splash etc.. After that, I have to trailer it up to Anaheim where Dean at House of Cobras is building his Stage III stroker engine (396) and doing all the remaining component installation to have the car road ready. A little more work, but I can't wait to see how everything turns out.
