Default Cost of nice engine and driveline?

Well this question is pure fantasy (for the time being) on my part, but I am just curious. Say that I win 10 million in the lottery and decide to buy a CSX 4000 or a CSX 7000. And I want to buy a Shelby 427 FE engine, built by Shelby, and a correspondingly nice drive train. Or maybe I want to get a 289 engine, one of the best made probably. What do these things go for and who makes the best ones? I am awaiting the answers here in Dreamland.

Mark

Mark, If you win 10 Mil forget about a replica and go straight to the real thing. CSX 3000, CSX 2000, GT 40, Saleen S7,Corvette Grand sport, Dale Earnhardt Monte Carlo (one he won Daytona with). This should cover you at most" Can you top this" contests.

Good luck in the Lottery,

Cranky

I believe the aluminum FE engines built by Shelby Enterprises go for 20-25K depending on the set-up. But I agree with Cranky, if you have 10 mil go for a csx3000.

if i win that sort of money (unlikely, as i don't buy lottery tickets), i am going to call old England, and have them ship me a pristine McLaren, an LM version.

Like the one that just went for 1.25 million.

But perhaps i should change my mind about lottery tickets, as in the past year, two winning tickets for over a 100 mil each were sold within a few miles of me.
