EM must have been a big sponsor for the show......not that there is anything wrong with that. Still a great 1/2 hour show!!!

Does anyone know how old this show is?
Is this the New EM or the old EM.

That show was good. Nice to see some Cobras in action. The show convinced me that I might want to build my Cobra instead of buying a roller.

I don't Know how old the show is, but do I know saw it at least a year ago. maybe more, even though the DISH network listing said it was 2004. My guess would be in the same time frame as the others, early 2000's

I thought it was new. They were showing a rolling chassis and it looked like what is on the site now with the ford IRS. I thought he mentioned it being the new chassis. Could be wrong I was on the phone during that part.

I could swear that they showed the Jag rear with inboard brakes like the Shamrock has.

Just a heads up for those who may have missed it....
SPEED TV's American Muscle Car show last evening (Monday 1-12-2004) was devoted to the Shelby 427 Cobra and reproducitons.
This half hour show will air again on Saturday, January 17th at 10AM EST on SPEED TV.
I only caught the last few minutes of it last evening (Monday) and there were a load of Everette Morrisons in a caravan.
Also, on TV and worthy of note is the new show (RIDES) which is on The Learning Channel (TLC) at 9 PM EST.
Cheers.

Well guess I have a different opinion. Good to see Cobra's get some air time but the show on 427 Cobra's was poorly produced and told very little about the car itself. Didn't really cover the original well or the replica market in general.

This show is at least 2...maybe 3 years old. I saw it long ago.
Very poor...more of a 'promotional video' for E-M than a historical recollection of the Cobra.

Another thing mentioned about the car that they were building on the show was that it had a Richmond tranny. Would I be correct in assuming that the motor was a Chevy motor with Cobra valve covers?

...not necessarily, you can use just about any tranny with any engine as long as you have the correct bellhousing.
I run a Richmond Gear 5 spd w/ my Ford 351W.
