That’s real bad luck Bob - mine doesn’t charge!

Thanks for the subscription though! Yours is amongst 20 going to the USA. They’ll be posted Monday.

The subsrciption form did not print very well from the internet...all fuzzy and such so I made up my own form and faxed it this morning. I hope that is OK as I'm looking forward to reading it. For those inquiring about the "old" cobras magazine there were at least 8 or 10 issues but could be wrong as it has been a while since I dug them up as I do have all of them. Took me a while to complete the collection but they are out there and I run into duplicates from time to time. Snakeyes has them all also....Bob do you know off the top of your head how many there were?

Gary

Hi Gary,

Thanks for the subscription application. So long as I can read it, I don’t much care about the format.

There’s this chap selling his collection of Cobra magazines:-

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2456375280

Looks like they’re popular!

Actually, I'm not lucky enough to own them all, but I was lucky enough to be able to borrow the two I lacked to make laser copies of them from a generous friend. I think the guy on eBay has them all, which would mean there were eight. He may lack one, but I'm pretty sure he's got them all in that eBay listing. It's a little hard to tell because there were some gaps in the publishing, i.e., there would be a Fall issue but no Winter one following it, then there would be a Spring issue, etc. It was a very good magazine and I hope this new one is as entertaining...

Den, you definitely need coverage of the fifth annual Texas Cobra Club meeting (80+ Cobras, along with several GT40 and Brock Coupe replicas signed up) and the Double Venom Spring Fling IV (Lord knows how many hundreds of Cobras attending). The TCC meeting is at the end of the month, and the DVSF is in May, I believe? Anyhow, I'm sure you'll find a bunch of helpful TCC members willing to assist with pictures and an article, if you can't make it to our little "Texas get-together."

Mike,
Thanks for your kind offer! I’d very much appreciate your contribution. That goes for anyone with a story to tell. Be it about an event, gathering, personal experience, technical advice, historical perspective or whatever.

One of the things that’s missing from the first volume of Cobra is the personal experience and personalities of Cobra fan(atic)s. In fact there are a lot of shortcomings in the new publication which I intend to plug over the following issues with the benefit of feedback (not to mention assistance) such as this.

I regard the coverage of the Cobra social scene as being important.
