HI, RICK - - -

I'VE WONDERED ABOUT THAT.

DOES ANYONE MANUFACTURE A GOOD - QUALITY HEADSET THAT IS WIRELESS??

WE USE INFRA-RED WIRELESS HEADPHONES ON SOME OF OUR JOB SITES AND THE SOUND QUALITY SEEMS PRETTY GOOD. OF COURSE WE'RE ONLY TRANSMITTING 300 TO 3000 Hz - THE RANGE OF HUMAN VOICE. I DON'T KNOW IF THEY ARE AVAILABLE IN A BROADER FREQUENCY SPECTRUM. (OF COURSE - I'M NOT SURE IF I CAN HEAR ANYTHING ABOVE 3K Hz).

Y'ALL HAVE A REALLY GREAT DAY

No expert here on the wireless headphones. I have an old set of Advents and they are OK. I have read a few reviews of Sony's and they have all been pretty good. Such as MDR-RF975RK (about $140 discount), there is another set from Sony that retails for $399. It is my understanding that they are generally not up to the best of corded head phones and the frequecy (RF 900mhz and some newer 2.4ghz) is commonly used so interfearence can be an issue. The reveiw of the higher end Sony with noise cancelation was very impressed. They actually did one test on a aircraft and there was a substantial reduction in ambiant noise. Nice if you travel a lot.

Give them a listen with some familiar materials. And remember, PLAY IT LOUD MAN!!!!!!!!

Out of respect to Richard's original question and thread hyjacking references by a few... it seems to me that whenever someone posts a specific or serious question, member responses typically fall in line. Whenever open ended questions are put out here, it seems member responses can vary widely and including other subjects and joking. I don't agree with hyjacking either when it comes to genuine posts... After looking at this thread a bit more and watching it churn...the original subject of this thread does ask a genuine question.

As we can see after Six+ pages of varying replies (and a lot of goofing and fun mixed in) Club Cobra is alive and well!

THANKS!
I don't know many of you well, but just want to say thanks to all for bringing a lot of good information, fun, and friendships in to my days. Most importantly, over the years, I think this site (and guys like Turk & Jamo) have actually assisted me personally a bit to learn to not take things in life too seriuosly, and just try to have fun. So THANKS!
