SouthernJeepney

1. They took the GT40 in trade some time ago. No motor and set up for the street (radio, etc.). Rough, but REAL as can be.

2. SEMA (Speciality Equipment Manufacture's Assn) show in Vegas is where that polished gem was highlighted by Ford in its exhibit space.

3. Somewhere local. I wanted the big side shot of the arruminum one real bad. Tried to stuff the raffle box as best I could. Mary Kirkham caught me. Someone else won it. I cried.

4. We told Turk he couldn't come until he got a Kirkham. No owners of replicas of Kirkhams allowed.

Was there a get together at Kikhams?
I must have missed it. Darn.

Why didn't you guys publicize it?

Nice Pics Jamo. Still shocks me to see CW without the beard.

Wish I could have been there. So how many parts and pieces did you manage to smuggle back to Kalifornia with ya?

All I know is that if it was shiney and had the KK insignia on it...I grabbed it! What I didn't get, U2, Pat and TC got.

Gonna be some nice little dustcaps on the next U2 plane flying around somewhere.

Thanks Jamo.

So it's a real GT40? Wow, how neat is that!

How neat is that?

Very neat.

I could still smell the sweat from when the car was raced....

Pat,

Did you stick your nose in that GT40 before or after Jamo climbed in?

Bet it smelled like Laguna Seca during the Historics in August! (Which I'm *sure* smells better than Jamo!)
