This is an Oregon car. Oregon title lists it as a '67 Shelby Cobra. Built in 1995 in Oregon by John's Custom Fabrication. John and his crew have impeccable reference in the Western United States. At the heart of this car is a thumping ported and polished big block Ford with 427 low-riser heads, four-speed and Ford narrowed 9-inch rear end. Among the many new goodies installed by Schweitzer Automotive Center are a new gear-reducted starter, new polished alternator, new fuel pump, new high volume
oil and pump and polished intake manifold. The cooling system is fresh too, including new electric fan, custom Billet reservoir and thermostat, the brake system is new also, including master cylinder, power booster, lines and proportioning valve. The top end was just refreshed 1,500 miles ago with new valves, a valve seat grind and springs. This Red Cobra also features custom headers and 4-inch powder coated side pipes, VDO gauges, trunk mounted battery and all period-correct Compmotive spinner hugged by B.F. Goodrich radio T.A.'s. Just like a real Cobra. We tried to be true to Carroll Shelby's dream with this car. We think he'd approve.
