Default New to Club

Hi Guys !!

I am a new Member to this club and trying to figure out a few things. I am from India and am really fascinated by Ford Cars like Cobra, GT40, Mustang etc. I am not as fortunate as most of you ppl who can buy a ready kit from the market and assmeble a cobra for them selves. I too want to build myself a cobra replica, but may just have to do with a scaled down model only. I need information about general specification of Cobra like its various measurements, engine type size, wheel size, tyre sizes etc...etc. Would also appreciate a few detailed pictures of various components of the car. I hope you people would help me out.

FM,

You'll find that many of the kit makers are represented right here on this site. Many of these companies ship their cars to many places across the world. You never know, you could be the first one in India to figure out how to make that happen!!

Best of luck and welcome,

Charmer

Yes, check out the gallery section of this forum or ask for pictures of the item or section of the car you are looking for & someone will usually have a picture to post for you. Oh, yeah! Welcome!

Maniac,

I was in Madras a couple of years ago setting up a data center. I had fun crusing around town in a '58 Austin Morris Taxi. I got to drive it a little but the owner kinda freaked when I got it up to 120 Km and started passing cars.

I also got to ride around town in an Autocar. It was great "wind in the face" motoring. I saw some beautiful Lotus 7 replicas, too. What are you thinking of for a basis for your Cobra?
