Hey Guys: Better double check on those stats. I believe that the overall height (to the top of the windscreen) is more like 48", and the front and rear tracks are definitely different, with the rear being the wider. Overall width and length may also be different. If you go to Superformance's site (who, in my humble opinion makes a pretty close to original rendition of the 427 cobra) and click on the Mark lll, then click on Stats, it will give you what you are looking for. Just my 2 cents.
Be well

The width and height I show as transposed but I show all other dimensions as being correct.
Didn't Superformance mirror image each side of the car to make them the same? The original bodies where all over the board. I remember one quote being something along the lines of "..the bodies where beaten out by hand under a bridge..". SPF still makes one nice car!

Rick,
Is that why SAI started ordering Kirkham bodies when they started selling continuation cars

Clay if what you are referring to was the engineers at Kirkham having a cow about how the dimensions where all over the place, then perhaps you have something there!
Bill, interesting information on the SPFs. I don't see where it says anything about evening up the body. That is unless I just scanned it two quickly. It was my understanding that with the way the original bodies where made there where no two alike (at least not by modern standards) and that some of the dimensions could be off as much as an 1". For instance distance from bottom of rear fenders to ground compaired to one another on the same car, body sitting square to the frame and ride height correct!.
Computerworks, here is a trivia question for you. Unique used to make a 427 Roadster, not talking S/C here. It is my understanding that the body for the Unique roadster was splashed right off of a original roadster. Was is the information on the car that was splashed?
