Steve,

There is a manufacturer forum for Antique & Collectible autos here at Club Cobra. If you do a search you will find all the members who have purchased their kits from A&CA. (under cc main memu forums, manufacturers) Click on the pictures and look in the gallerys of these members. My gallery just has the chassis nearly complete, no engine or body yet. I would also post another thread there with some specific questions you may have. Have you been able to see one of their cars in person, have you looked at other manufacturers yet? What are your plans for the car once it is finished? What is important to you in a kit?
I am 5 months into my A & CA build. They have one of the largest catalogs of different kit cars. After visiting car shows on the East Coast for almost two years I found that they had one of the best fiberglass bodies in the industry. In fact if you get their company info that is how the company started, in the fiberglass industry. I have found working with the company reps and owner very helpful and satifactory to date. I have my rolling chassis nearly complete, and I am very satisfied with the frame, welding, components and the design of the suspension system.
Visit the manufacturers you are interested and compare your notes. Good luck, have fun, and I think that you will find the members of Club Cobra very helpful in answering your questions.

Jer

Thanks Jerry for your input. I have looked at factory-five,era,lonestar and others. They all offer different options as standard which makes it hard to decide. I guess it comes down to how much it will cost me for the options I want. They all seem a little high for a car that I still have to put together, but I think it would be fun. Thanks again Jerry. I did see one being put together at John Yorks in Ashland ,Yorks Sports Cars
