I spoke with Jim Inglese at great length about cam profiles with webers; he, of course, has a lot of experience with this. He feels that as long as LSA doesn't get narrower than 108 you should be fine, with 110 degrees being ideal for most engines. He also advised that staying away from split profile cams is probably best for most of us, but you can run a LOT of duration, just like Cal says.
