Brent: Congratulations. It is beautiful. The Kirkham is the best there is and takes the original to the next level as to quality, workmanship and materials.
Whats your source of power going to be and tranny?

Thanks fellas. Today I took the wheels off and had a looksee. WOW! Love the billet control arms, the penske racing shocks, big ass Wilwood brakes....Just amazing engineering!
Engine questions...At this point it looks like a 390 that I have already and a toploader 4spd from David Kee. I'm hoping to get into a 427 next year maybe.

Brent,
One VERY beautiful car!
Enjoy in good health and happiness.
Are you going to tear down your other Cobra for one final attempt at determing who made it?

Yo Brent,
A "lively" 390 should enable you to scare the c**p out of yourself in that particularly light car!
Enjoy!

Brent Congrats on the Car,
A great home for a great Car!!! The 390 will look identical and many of the external parts can be used on your future build. Seems like a great choice - drive it sooner with a 390 or -- forget the or just start enjoying it sooner
Scott
p.s. do you have plans to bring it to the Vintage Races (SIR or PIR)?

Wow....what a beautiful car. It would be great to see it in Austin next year. There were no Kirkhams present for our 2004 event.

Brent,
Did you get a PM from Stretch "Snakecharmer" Williams.
I left a post yesterday on the "Parts for Sale" forum for him to contact you re: his 427so. I almost bought this motor when building my SPF, but was told it was already sold. The deal fell thru. Anyhow, check my post.
Really Nice Ride, I'm jealous (but not that much).
And the weight loss - congrat's.
I think Jamo and I need to know the secret.

Wow Brent, you sure don't fool around!!
Brent,
Boy you sure don't mess around! It only seems like a week ago when you told me about your new Kirkham on order, and the next thing I know is there you are- SITTING IN IT!! Wow! Is that car beautiful or what??? I am speechless, but I do distinctly remember our conversations of late Saturday night/Sunday morning....and remember, I have some pictures to e-mail you ;-) !
Congratulations my friend, of all, you and Sherrie deserve it!

What'd you do with the former Cobra....
Didn't that have a 427 you could swap out????? I remember your legendary tale of getting it on the road due to various 'gremblins'....
Congrats on the new ride!
David

JWheaton/dsprint2000, well, the other car was loaded on the trailer just after unloading the Kirkham....It's gone forever.
Tom/Scott, the 390 will probably be ok...Just got used to a 427. And yes Scott, I plan on making SIR/PIR.
Tim, if i can make it with the car I will...That's so far away...I can't even think far enough ahead to the point when i get this sucker on the road!
lineslinger, if you want aluminum and/or accuracy, Kirkham is the one.
terry lee, I haven't heard from Stretch yet. He's probably out setting up the engine stand now.
RedBarchetta, Rich Lacey is the man!
jrussell, I can't hardly believe it either! I remember our conversations too....Sort of....Thanks for the Scotch.......Sherrie and I were feeling that all Sunday! By the way, thanks for the license plate holder. It's already on the car.

Brent,
Wonderful car!
And remember: This is your great excuse to get away from the desk and the computer once a day. There are errands to be run!
Hope you are driving it very soon.
