New Cobra in Virginia

I had posted in the consumer section to answer a question that asked concerning which cobra to pick. As you all know, there is no right answer.

Computerworks had reminded me that this might be a more appropriate area to post the arrival of my new car - KMP297.

Interstates Transport just surprised me this past Friday with the delivery of KMP297 I can't say enough about how Interstates treated the car like it was their own...thanks folks.

I wanted everyone to know and also to thank all who played a part in the selection process. Great news about this crowd is that we share the same passion no matter what type of car we all have or even if we have a car yet at all.

I posted a couple of the early pics in my gallary...I hope to have the engine and trans in within the upcoming weeks....

Vic and Ed...looks like the party will have to hold off a bit...but we'll have one none the less.

Congrats Bill!!!! I was fine before, now I'm getting all hyped. I should have asked for mine as early as I could. I put in a link at the CACC site. It does look NIIIICE! What's the deal on the install, you or them?

After talking with all you guys, I was reallt leaning toward having the car delivered to my house....then I got a call from the gargage that the car was already delivered....to the garage near Dulles.

I'm now going to stay with Plan "A" and have them do the install.

I was really impressed with not only Interstates' handling but also of the great interaction and shop layout at Dulles.

I'll have to keep everyone posted....

And you still didn't show up at the Grease Up! You are a poser (sp?)! You better come next weekend. There were 25 of us with 6 Cobras & 2 GT-40s. What a great surprise. Did you spend the night there? Man what a fine looking ride! I can't wait for mine either.
