Default Seat Cushion for a Cobra?

This seems like a lame question, but it's going to get real hot around here again this year and last year I was thinking that sitting on leather in a Cobra - or any convertible - makes me sweat - a lot - so what about a seat cushion that actually works to reduce the sweat and heat factor - just a little would be fine.

Perhaps you guys are not into the comfort thing, but any input would be appreciated, e.g. a specific product that works is the goal.

You could get a terry cloth cover for the summer.

try using a beach towel for those extra hot days..throw it behind the seatback when ya dont want it . toss it on the seat to keep it cooler when parked or sit on it when more comfort is needed. works for me, a quick easy fix for times of need. bill.

I have always just kept a couple of beach towels around. Work fine for me. Of course covering the seats when the car is in the sun parked with a cover or the towels helps keep the seat temp down as well.

You may want to consider a tonneau cover. More pricey, but protects the whole interior, including the seats. Robbins Auto Top Company in Oxnard, CA did a good job on mine. Rich

Beach towel sounds really practical to me.

I like them. Buy some good terry cloth towels and they have a variety of funtions. I just roll them up and leave them in the trunk. Large bath towels work as well. Either will soak up some sweat.

I also have a toneau cover and sometimes use it for the sun. But depending on where you are, how long you are going to be there, etc, it doesn't always work for me (I can't just tuck it behind the seat and use the shoulder harnesses which I do not like to drive without).

If the car is in the sun I sometimes put the towels on the seats and leave them so that they are cooler right from the start. Light colors are the best choice.

I agree ...I like them. Buy some light colored terry cloth towels and they can be used for many functions. I've been stuck in the rain on the road with a leaky top and Large bath towels work well. and can be a life saver so my copilot tells me. They also will soak up some sweat.

Take Care
