Steve - just wait - the emotional roller coaster will provide the ride of a lifetime - enjoy it - time won't wait on you .
Seems like yesterday our youngest was crashing into everything -and this past weekend he got his first college start pitching on the varsity as a freshman.
Now it is the grandchildren from our oldest that fill the house with wonder and excitement.

Steve & Kara,
Congratulations and best whishes from Janie and I. I hope all goes will today and you both had a good nights sleep. I hope Kara does not loose her taste for pancakes so the 3 of you can come to Goodnoe's for breakfast again. Good luck, congratulations and best whishes for many years of happiness. Remember what has been said, it is not the initial cost, but the upkeep that is important. Enjoy every second of this time because it goes so fast.

Corky, we will be back to Goodnoes' soon. Next round of breakfast is on us.
And the winner of the baby pool is Computerworks, with a guess of 3/26/2004 at 3:45 am. Bill and I are working out the details to get two shirts from Cobrapromotions.net to him. Congrats Ron!! Being a moderator, are you sure you didn't edit it?
Now back to changing diapers for me...
Steve

He looks like a Cobra dude to me--just like his daddy. Bigtime congratulations, and we'll see you again at DVSF4.

Congratulations!!
My wife and I had our first baby about a year ago, so I know how you're feeling. It only gets better from here. Get as much sleep as you can...you'll need it!

Thanks. We're doing pretty well. Being a daddy is just awesome, but as expected, these first weeks are just killing me. Getting little sleep, working full time, and got pretty sick to boot. But when I hold him or feed him, or just sit with him, it makes it all worth it. My perspective on everything has changed....
Joshua is doing great now. He had jaundice and had to be hospitalized at first, but he's eating like a horse now and really doing well.
My wife is very tired, but getting back on her feet. Labor was really tough for her, but she's so happy to be a mommy, she could care less.
But I really am loving the whole experience and cherishing every moment. It's gonna be a busy summer for the boy. He'll be at our Cobra Revolution II, FFR open house, Spring Fling IV, and hopefully some other events we'll be attending. Gotta start him off right!!
Steve

I remember going to the hospital the day after my daughter was born. The way you look at the world is changed forever.... in a good way. Congrats to Steve & Kara. Welcome to the Cobra family Josh. One small piece of advice... lots of pictures. They changed so quickly right in front of your eyes and you don't even realize it.
