SPF's at CMS this weekend
rained all week, but sat at dawn, it looked cold but dry. I had spent all thursday afternoon and evening spiffing up the Great Stroker, it looked great. So dropped by Bojangles, and got a matched pair of sausage biscuits, and headed north. I had put the top up to show how nice the new fabric tops are. At the Olthoff's exhibit at the corner of the NASCAR garages, pulled in, and so began the day. It was fabulous. Not only to meet my many friends with other Replicas, but to wander amoung the vendors, and then to see some of the usual '60's Muscle Cars. I even found a green '69 Charger R/T, just like my first new car. It was gorgeous. Lots of onlookers, some serious about the cars, so inbetween my Kielbasa and Diet Coke, i chatted with many enthusiasts. The FFR guys had a nice exhibit and about 30 of those cars along the pit walls. Son Chris came up in the afternoon, and we wondered again amongst the Vipers and such, comparing them to his Boxster.
Here is a pic of the SPF part of the show, my car is the red one with the "rookie" stripes and the top up to the rear of the exhibit.

here is the Roush rep, talking motor with an enthusiast, note the fuel injected intakes, Roush has spent several years working this system so it works right, it is plenty powerful, but really pricey. The gentleman right behind the motor, in the hat and dark jacket is our fearless leader, Bob Olthoff himself.
Sunday was sunny but chilly and windy, but still a fun day for me and the others.

Al, i am not really sure, in fact, i think they are 18's, but i am not even sure of that. They are a custom wheel done for the Coupes, they have a center lock nut. Several versions are available.
