"GT40 replica show-N-tell" in Topeka
A number of Mid America Cobra Club members stopped by yesterday to get a look at the GT40 replicas.
I've had the car for a few weeks now and haven't had a chance to go drive it yet.......
I have a few little trim items to finish on the car, and have been quite busy lately with my "day job",,,,,so the project cars have been waiting on me to catch up.
I tried to keep my little "speech" about the car & company brief as not to bore anyone,,,,,,,but my enthusiasm for the GT40 is hard to hide.
Approximately 25 people showed up for my little "open house", and I want to thank all who attended.

in my best "Al Borland" impression from the old Tim Allen show....
I don't think so, Pete.
Chuck, Thanks.
I'm just a guy who feels lucky to be able to finally drive the cars I've been dreaming about my whole life,,,,and meet with others who share my enthusiasm.

here's a few pics a bud of mine sent me recently.
He works on a Trans-Am team and was visiting Lee Holman at his new facility.
If you like historic, legendary, and just plain cool cars, you should look at these.

Alain:
Thank you for your time and hospitality. The GT-40 was very impressive, as was your knowledge of the product and the originals.
