Pics of tonneau?
Do any of you have pics of your tonneau installed? I have never seen one installed, but want to get one made.
Thanks for your help in advance

If you check my gallery, I have a couple of pics with mine installed. Fits nice and snug. I love it and use it quite a bit.

Hope you don't mind me jumping in here?
Just a question regarding the tonneau cover that you have fitted. Do you drive with it fitted on the passenger side or take it completely off?.
If so, how have you attached it on the passenger side to the door to stop it from flapping?
Cheers
Bernie

Bernie:
Thanks for the compliment, but I can't take credit for the creative plate. I swiped it from right here at Club Cobra, where we have a member who has the user name 4RE-KLR. Since he doesn't live in Missouri, I didn't figure he'd mind if I "borrowed" it.
As far as the tonneau goes, I haven't driven with it on. I just use it when I park it. So I can't speak as to it's "flapability", or lack thereof...

Bernie: My doors have three or four male snaps for the "lift-a-dot" fasteners on the tonneau...I suppose you could drive it with just the passenger side zipped up; might help keep the heat in!!! lol !!! There are also male snaps across my dashboard to hold the tonneau down. Sorry, but no pictures at this time.

Don't worry about borrowing I was going to borrow your design there of the cover.
Thanks for your help. We may get some Posting with their own experiences.

Edley,
Sorry I Posted over the top of you.
Yes, I hope to drive with the cover on. The heat thing is right. I have a heater in the passenger side and would hope that it does keep it a little warmer by directing the heat at me.
Just had an email saying I should put three fasteners down on the door trim just under the door top edge and sew straps in to pull down onto the fasteners. This was an after market solution to... quote.. "stop flapping at 70mph +"
The other in the convenience of just un zipping one side and driving off rather than fully taking it off and folding etc to go in the boot/trunk.
Anyway will see what is suggested.
Cheers
Bernie

Bernie: I never use my tonneau, sunny SoCal and all, but I have seen a couple fo Cobras where they unsnap the front and sides of the tonneau, and roll it up down behind the seats, precluding the need to take it off completely.

Edley
That is an idea. I have some time today to see if I can do this.
The car goes in for paint so I am trying to have any drilling or fastening done prior to paint going on.
Can relate to sunny Cal.
Spent a few weeks there last year just prior to the Run N Gun and after. Stayed at 18th in HB and enjoyed the walks down to the pier.
Travelled up to Malibu and checked out all of the beaches there. It was fantastic weather then the fires hit and it became really dirty.
Will be back in HB next year prior to the DVSF in June. Hope the weather is clear then.
Again thanks for your advice.
Cheers
Bernie

Russ,
Thanks for the help. Your car looks great, I bet that it the first time you have heard that!

Will keep an eye out
Thanks for starting this 'Thread' has been helpful and I have found a solution with the storage behind the seat, position of fasteners etc.
Cheers
Bernie
