Well I had another Carb go bad on me this weekend. I have 550 miles on the car and I'm on my 3rd carb. Hopefully we have it fixed.

What do you mean "carb went bad" did you cach it on fire and melt it?

I have had two Demon's with Cracks internally, Both were dumping fuel directly through a hole that wasn't designed to flow fuel. Needless to say I'm not a mechanic, but it was a condition my engine guy has never seen before. Anyway Demon stood behind their product and we upgraded to a more aggressive "race" carb. It ran better after the change then it ever has.

Those wheels and tires look terrific. They appear to be a little more contemporary than the original knockoffs and are very distinctive. They also look like they fill the wheel wells nicely too. I've seen some non-traditional wheel/tire combos that look very much out of place. I envy you being able to use a high performance tire instead of the very limited choices that are offered for our 15" wheels.

Sierramadre...Call Phil at PSE, You wouldn't believe the difference in the feel of the car. I'm going with the 335's in back next round of tires. By the way I love your color combo.

Now that's what I'm talking about! Schweeet!!!
What size tires are you running front and back? I'll guess 285's in the back? Or are those 315's?
I'd love to swap out my 15"s for 17"s just like you, but then I did the math and did one of these..... So if anyone wants to trade straight-up, you know how to get ahold of me!

RedBarcheeta....I have 275's front.....315's rear....And with little camber change in the rear you can swing 335's. I think I'm going that route next round of tires.

I've seen upclose an SPF with the 335's.....incredible! But I've heard it's quite tight and not something you can't drive ultra aggressive for fear of rubbing the sidewalls.
I'd be curious to hear your driving impressions once you've put some miles on them. I'm sure the cornering is TONS better, but without having as much "slip" will you be concerned of catching a lip versus losing grip and skidding through trouble versus rolling through it?!?

So far the car feels completely different....more agressive, I haven't done any real hard cornering, but I immediately noticed a huge change in feel. With the Big Block the car always felt like it wanted to push entering a corner, now the car feels completely neutral while cornering. I'll let you know as I put Her though her paces this spring.

Any other 17" 315/335 owners out there care to share their thoughts on the benefits of this hi-performance tires
