cobra prices!!!

Hi,


Lately I'm visiting the sites from Superperformance and Kirkham and I'm wondering which of those two manufacturers wins the battle of delivering the best, complete Cobra.
( I'm interested in the 427 S/C)
I would love to see your reactions on this which I'll consider as excellent advice.

Also, I'm eagerly searching for the prices of this car but still without any result, so, I'm asking to send me the prices of every completely manufactured Cobra, especially the price of a 427 S/C.
This, both from Kirkham and Superperformance.

Neither of these cars come as "Turn Key" automobiles directly from the manufacturer. However, both have sales outlets that for a fee will install any number of different engine and transmission configurations to suit your wants and needs. Price depends on the drivetrain (and exact build of that drivetrain) you decide on.

I couldn't compare the two as the cars are so different. Both nice in their own way.

But Kirkham is alloy, supplies bodies to Shelby. I would compare it to other alloy replicas (AC, McKluskey, who else?). The "K"'s are simply not in the same league as a glass car, any glass car including Shelby's.

Or,,,, it's strictly a cost comparison? If the glass car is close to the cost of the alloy, go alloy. The "K" car virtually demands a 427 egnine (original or Shelby alloy block). Whereas the SPF will be right at home with a nice 351 which should save a bundle of money.

as the owner of a daily driven SPF, with over 75 thousand miles, i also think they are two pretty different vehicles. Both are quite nice, but vastly different in price. Both have great dealer support, too. I think both give great value for the dollar spent, and if you are going to spend this much money, i highly suggest you ride or drive each, and closely examine what you want to spend.

I plan on a 1500 mile trip in two days, so i don't worry about long distance travel in my SPF. I do it all the time.

Life is short, get one, and get out on the road.

So, if I understand you guys well, both manufacturers are great but uncomparable.

I conclude that Kirkham or Superperformance build your car but don't put an engine in it. That you've to let this installed at another sales outlet. Am I wright?

And David, please, tell me as soon as possible what you've for me. Could you tell me an average price for a 427 S/C?

While both of the machines you're looking at are among the best, don't overlook the ERA offerings for both "roller" and "turnkey" cars. Their rollers start at about 20,000 and turnkeys start at $49,000.
The most important think is to research, research research. The single biggest "hard value" number you have to come up with is how much you're going to spend. Once you have a firm number do some more research and get what is "to you" the most bang for the buck. Look at the offerings and figure out which one will get the closest to what you want for what you're going to spend.
Most of the owners you'll find here on the forum and elsewhere have spent at least a year if not several researching their final decisions.
You're contemplating a major purchase of a one-of-a-kind vehicle, so to speak. Don't short change yourself.
