Here on Long Island it's not uncommon to see at least one Cobra a day and on weekends they are all over the place. I suppose having the Snakepit and HRE both located here has alot to do with it. I'm willing to bet there are more 427 Cobra replicas located on L.I. than the whole original production figure. There are 5 that I know of just in my small town alone. I passed two yesterday within a 30 minute-8 mile span and I was IN my Cobra! So someone got to see 3 Cobras in 30 minutes. Even so, I don't think interest is waning because the manufacturers can't seem to build these cars fast enough to meet the demand. Although there are so many Cobras here they still cause a stir wherever they show up. I know I still always get excited when I see one on the road. I don't get like that when an AMC Marlin goes by and thats a far more rare sighting on the road than a Cobra.

I was thinking the same thing....everywhere I go there seems to be a bunch of Cobras. Then it dawned on me....hey, I'm always doing something with other CACC members.

Hey guys - great points. I was not trying to insinuate that they are common, I was just curious if guys who have had them a long time felt that the higher numbers changed the desirability. Obviously NOT! Thanks, and DV I hope to make it to the fling this year.

Jordan,

I don't think the voluptuous, organic shape of the Cobra will ever lose it's charm. Combine that with way too much motor, and car guys will love them forever.

I'm only to anxious for the day when my garage houses one, for there is not another in Jackson, TN. Maybe I'll find the one at the Fling......
