I need a Car Cover for my A&C
Hi Everyone,
My Cobra will be shipping out for paint soon and I would like to have a cover for her when she gets back. I need one that will fit either an A&C or a Shell Valley body. Any Ideas?

Mike,
If you have a Costco near you they are selling Wolf covers, in three sizes, for around 50 bucks. These are listed for 115.00 on the Wolf website. They are made of the triple layer all weather stuff and work fine. I also picked up a cockpit cover from California Covers for my A&C. This works great when out on the road and you stop, say, at a restaurant and don't want the curious getting out of hand......or just to keep the sun out.

Hey Roscoe: That cockpit cover looks to be a good idea. How much did they charge you for that, and how does it attach? There are a couple of California Cover sites out there on the net. Would you mind giving me the link to the one that you bought from?
Thanks for the info.

I bought it years ago. It is the Miata cover and it was about 60 bucks. Maybe they make one for a Cobra now.
As you can see in the pic, it has nylon fender straps with padded attachment hardware. The front and rear mount under the hood and top part of the trunk.
You can put it on in about a minute.

I don't recall the year but I got it about three years ago. It is a pretty
good fit all around. I think it might be a bit tight on an ffr due to the
high roll bar.

There is an add I frequently see in the car rags which actually shows a Cobra pratially covered: AutoAnything featuring Covercraft, 800-874-8888 or www.autoanything.com. I've been considering a cover instead of just the tonneau cover. Although, I guess I need to keep the cover off the hot side pipes unless I want some authentic flames on the paint!

Mike: Call Califonia car covers, They will send you a sketch to fill in the blanks for dimensions of your car. I have both the full cover with (2) roll bars, cannot be happier, my little baby sleeps well under her cover. The cover even has stretch areas by the wheels to fit snug as a "bug".
The cockpit cover like Roscoe's is also a good idea for the interior area, I asked for (2) additional straps and they sent them to me to attach to the Miata cover, bye the way there was no year specified for the Miata cover. I carry that with me on threatening days and "hot" days to protect the interior.
California Covers - no regrets, great company.
