Talking CSX 4047 Home

Today is the day I have been waiting for...CSX 4047 is finally back home. I've first got to say Rich Lacey is the best. I'll use his transport service again, and recommend it to others, great guy, personal service.

Second, How great a guy is George Anderson!!! I sent him my car some months back. I had just purchased CSX 4047 and the engine had serious problems. After consulting with "club cobra" I sent the car to Nebraska and it was the best move I could have made. I've got CSX392 under the hood, a pile of electrical and mechanical problems were solved and now I have a car I can drive with no worry. In retrospect the car was not safe initially.

George did a great job, posted images on a web site regularly and called keeping me up to date. It is hard to find a guy who is so good at what he does, is honest and personable. You bet I think he deserved the award!

Gonna be hard to slep tonight!

Roland,

Yes George is a great guy, I was talking to him last night and he was sad to see your car go. I asked for your cell number and he would not give it to me , I was going to try my best Rich Lacey trouble call. Hello, Hello, Doctor, your motor has been stolen out of the car!

Have fun!

Mostly small stuff. The car came without a gas gauge. The turn signals didn't work. The tach was inaccurate and the oil and water temp gauges were out. George also replaced the old front A arms with new adjustable ones so the car could be better aligned. The front ball joints had never been greased and were very worn and unsafe. etc etc. Basically no major design problems but the kind of stuff that will drive you crazy.

Where is CSX 4027 today? That car (and owner|) was my mentor as to originality.

4027 seems to live at SAI Las Vegas, the owner keeps it there for fun drives with good looking chicks. Last visit they were installing a race windsheild and playing with the motor.
