Default Car Wanted - what to look for

I am a new member and have been reading your comments and such regarding the various cars. I think I want a CSX4000 as it appears the most "authentic". Am I going in the right direction ?

The first thing you need to ask yourself is "What am I willing to spend". After that, read the "How to buy a Cobra" thread in the FAQ. All good sound advice......

G,

Your time may be well spent weighing what is most important to you. Is it Authenticity, handling, quality, etc? What you will use it for - shows, occasional or daily driver? How much work will you do building it? All of these may end up pointing you to different manufacturers.

For authenticity, Kirkham and ERA are about the best, IMHO, unless you are willing to pay a hefty premium for the CS name on it.

Good Luck and enjoy the journey.
