Performance Engineering, Ross, Ohio
Myself together with a couple of friends recently received our Superformance MKIII's shipped directly from the factory in SA to Chile.
The three engines, 351W Sportsman blocks, 430 lb-ft, 415 HP were built by the guys at Performance Engineering, Ross, Ohio. We decided to have our engines done by PE after reading a lot of positive threads in CC about them and the kind of work they do.
All I can say about PE is that they are an amazing group of professionals. Eric himself was personally involved in the construction of the 3 engines. All the deal was agreed on the phone, thousands of miles away. We never signed a paper and Eric delivered exactly what he said he would and right on time.
Due to his experience in Cobras, he knew what we would need, so he sent us all the necessary hardware to install the engines, right to the last bolt and nut.
If I had to do it again, Performance Engineering is the way to go.

Congratulations on your three SPF's.
Hi Club Members from Chile:
Here are the three engines just before they were shipped to Chile.
Looking forward to seeing the three cars finished and shot together.
Juan

Eric and his crew have built several engines for me as well as for my brother Dave. One of the qualities that Eric provides is "after the build" support and warranties. He's always taken the time to answer questions, make recommendations and suggestions.
As an individual, he's honest, hard working and a pleasure to do business with even though he enjoys being cranial coverage challenged. Best of Luck with those beauties.

Eric, what's that motor doing now?? We met at DVSF II and you fired up your 418 for my dad and I, solidifying our decision to do a stroker. We ended up going for a torque happy 408. After next season, I think we're going to see what HP does and switch out some of our "torque" parts for "HP" parts. Too much torque....NEVER enough HP
You were breathing 567 HP if I remember correctly at the Fling. You said w/ the proper valve springs, you could turn 650+ at 7K RPM. Fun...
So what's the latest iteration of the Great Asp 418?
JP....enough is never enough

Al,
Look at the top of this page for their banner. If you don't see it, remind Eric and you get the complimentary t-shirt!

You can call Eric at (513) 738-5001 or mail him pecobra@aol.com
If he does not answer the phone, ask him for a second T-shirt.
