Ricer Kill Stickers
Just wanted to post this over here as well:
Ok guys, for those of you who have already emailed me, this is in the final stages at the printer on configuration. I'm going to do a semi-small run of these and if there's more interest, print more later. These will be kill stickers similar to WWII pilots used that you can put on your car via static cling. They will be white vinyl with the red Japanese sun rising (old flag)...approx 2.5" x 1.5". Package of 10 for now for $20 shipped. They will be precut individually and ready to apply and take off as you wish. If I can get lots of orders, the $20 can be reduced.
Whoever the first 10 people that speak up first via email cobra@magick.org will get theirs for $15 shipped.
I will post a pick as soon as I get them made. Just wanting to gauge interest. They shouldn't take to long to produce. By the way, these will look good on a red car too...there's enough white in the flag to really stand out.
Also, if there is large enough interest for other "logos" for kill stickers, those could be made as well.
I will take checks or money orders or cash, but not until I get the stickers from the printer...don't want to hold your money while the printer has the product...I'll let you know when and where to send it as soon as I can.
Thanks

I have neen planning to make some of these for a long time. I was going to print them on a color printer and laminate them. I would really like some Porsches and BMWs, too if possible. Do the ricer stickers look like Subaru WRX's? That would be best! My CoDriver and I have been joking about doing this for years, since we pass so many cars on Rallies.
Can you post a picture? The rising sun flag idea is great, but it would be better to have a black border around it. It wouldn't be hard to do the German tricolor flag, would it? How many come in a pack? We usually pass 10 to 15 cars in the course of a rally.
Rally on!
Paul

Paul,
I will post a pick as soon as I get them from the printer. I looked into a border, but adding another color really kicks up the price. The German flag would be cake to make....10 in a pack.
You are about 7th or 8th on the list.
I will definately consider making other kill stickers as well after this batch.
Thanks

Mel,
You're 9th...I'll have a pic soon. Trying to decide if I want to have a small white border around the flag or not...I'll post pics of the difference soon.
Thanks

Ok all the discount early birds are gone...it's now $20 a set for 10 stickers cut and trimmed, shipped to your door...I'll post pics soon of the stickers maybe even on the side of my car if I get time.
If I can get a bunch of others to buy sets, I'll try to perhaps get a website together with sticker info and other printerd graphics stuff...with a forum banner ad
Thanks

Hey, I have a Honda. I've beaten my Cobra in my Honda. My Golden Retriever was driving the Cobra, but that's beside the point.
DoublePumper, you can probably count me in once you post some pics....
Thanks!!

Some of those guys driving a Honda have tweaked them and now put out as much or more HP than an aspiratated V-8, from a 4cyl to boot. Add Nitrous boost and they are faster still.
"manly" or not, if you knock one of them off consider your self lucky that your loud raw HP v-8 didn't get embarassed

Did any of you see the kill stickers that MINI put in "AutoWeek" a year ago or so? I've got a set somewhere around here...

It's a funny idea
Just be careful not to challenge one of those "ricer" street bikes like my Mad Max, especially if you have a date with you: www.madmax.com
Or you'll be looking silly indeed

DoublePumper, since one of the Cobras nicknames is the Ferrari killer, you could print some Ferrari stickers. Just a suggestion.

Back in Black,
Fear of "looking silly" is no reason not to do what we do, is it?

Hey guys,
I've probably going to make other kinds of kill stickers in the near future....chickens, german flag for porches and what not...maybe even sheep...! anyway, if you want a set, please email me at "cobra@magick.org" instead of only replying to the forum...it's tough to keep track of everything without email....don't want to leave anyone out.
I'll have a pick sometime Monday night or so.
Thanks.

Let me get this straight:
I've got a car with more torque in my lug nuts than these guys have in their whole engine and I'm going to brag about beating a Honda?
Viper and Ferrari stickers maybe but Hondas?
No thanks,
Roscoe

The Japanese flag can stand for whatever car from Asia you please I suppose....there are some very respectful machines that guys build and modify that are of Japanese, Chinese, whatever decent. Some could whip our Cobras with ease...and some obviously not. There's always someone faster out there than you.
By the way, the Italian and German stickers are coming in the near future...and other American makes as well. These are just for fun...not wanting to start a war here.
