If "demand" in the US is suddenly greater than supply (the reason behind the price increase - gas goes to the highest bidder), and production can't be increased (already maxed out), then who's buying/using all the "available"gas (most people I know are cutting back not suddenly increasing)?

Why haven't AVgas prices followed? I got AVgas yesterday and it has gone up only a little in the past two years.

Could it be that we're all just getting gouged?
