2x4 Dual quad- holley 465's (1848-1)

I have just scored a pair of holley 465's (1848-1) for my Blue THunder 427 intake. I was wondering if anyone has these carbs. They seem to be almost identical to the 450's (9776) that a lot of dual quad guys are using, except that they have vaccum secondaries instead of mechanical. I was also told that the 427 2x4 linkage kit would bolt on easily with no modification. Was this a better choice than the 450's? Thanks for any imput you can offer.
