There was a thread on the site a few weeks ago where the discussion was about having the body plated. The CC member spoke of his plating buss. utilizing some form of advanced plating process claiming to be able to plate darn near anything. I think he was located in New Jersey, maybe I can retrace my steps and find that thread.

The primer, dang, now why didn't I think of that! That sure would of eliminated our repeated attempts at step #7.

I was watching an episode of American Chopper and they copper plated one of the bikes. I have to say, the tone and color, was spectacular. Can you do this to aluminium? Fiberglass? Is there a ppg color that could be made to look like copper plating? I just thought it looked outstanding. Like the polished aluminium.
