It is a little cryptic but I like the subtleness. ELAPI is short for Elapid or Elapidae. It is the family of about 300 venomous snakes that includes cobras, mambas, kraits, brown snakes, and sea snakes among others. It is my new Florida Personalized Tag (on order) for my Backdraft. I was limited to five letters on a Florida Veterans Plate.
The Elapi are also the serpent people from Dungeons & Dragons. I do have to say that I have NEVER played D & D!
I can foresee getting some "interesting" comments. I also considered SNAAK and SNAYK which are still available in Florida.

The best one I have seen I can't use because Massachusetts won't let you have a letter after a number. Maybe someone else can use it.

I just got mine registered in NC ... so I went with: "427MKIII" I must have run through 20 different TAG names ... Anything with SNAKE, COBRA, SHELBY and 65 was taken ...

When I clicked on the link to mounting brackets on the first page it went to wall mounting brackets for flat screen TV's, when I clicked on the mounting bracket link it went to KOHL's department store and curtain stuff. Anybody got a better idea on how and where I'd mount a Club Cobra badge like this?

After waiting for 8 years, I was able to get 427 SC here in Arizona. Now I buy my plates 5 years at a time. It's great when you do not have to go thru emissions.
