Texas is going from 6 digits to 7 in January 2009 so many of us are licking our chops on the doors that opens.
Easy for me if I wanted to stick with WHPLSH to go to WHIPLSH or WHPLASH but lots of other options are suddenly available.

I'm sure it is taken already but I'm going to try for... ONDFLOR or ONDAFLO.... the place the pedal seems to stick to when I'm driving!

It amuses me at car shows when people stare at my plate with that confused look and you watch their mouths contort as the try to pronounce what the tag spells. Once they figure it out they usually smile and say it outloud then continue on their way with the confused look again. My tag is SSN8KE.

Finally got my Midstates registered and on the road three weeks ago. Between the original owner of 12 years and me for 2 it only took us 14 years. Currently working on paint.
Applied for and got a regular license plate in Tennessee while I was waiting to see if I got the vanity plate that I really wanted... Just heard... I got it! 66COBRA. Ha! How cool is that! Last week I had a guy parked next to me in a Sonic ask, "Is that an old Corvette?" Duh. "Look at the plate".

I got Illinois vanity plate "A SNAKE"
Cost is high but what the hay it is only money...if I run low, I'll just go make some more.
Money isn't everything, but it sure is running real close second to what ever is in first.
Money can not buy happiness but it sure makes misery a lot more tolerable.
How much HP you want? How much money you got?

I'm have SSSSSPF, but am not using it. If any Californian Superformance owner would like it, send me a PM and I'll see if I can have it transfered to you. (no charge other than DMV fees)

Chuck - Did you go with another vanity plate or decide to use the standard issue plate? I ordered a vanity plate awhile back, but I don't think I'm going to use (just changed my mind).

Hey Doug,
I got S3RP3NT and decided to use that plate instead. In addition to SSSSSPF, I also have AC SN8K.
Are you finally mobile?

Chuck,
Yes, I finally got my wheels back! I got the car back at the beginning of April, but due to a couple of planned weekend trips, I haven't had too much time to drive it....and I missed the trip to Sonoma.
The prime driving weather is here, so I'll catch-up with you and the South Bay gang soon.

I'm with Chuck. Went with CSX 4250 which, for those in the know, will let them know it's not Chuck's....
