Default What a great way to retire...

I need to thank my wife for making my dream come true...ever since that first ride in Chicago in 1965. Have 10k miles so far and loving every minute of it. Car has been on the ground since 2002. Enough of this, it's 70 degrees and sunny. Time to warm up the Cobra!!

I'm 39 and vote "mid-life crisis", or at least that's what my wife tells me

46 this year.. Expected to have my Cobra by the time I was 40, but kids and life got in the way.. Wife says it's midlife, I'm ok with that, since I got it! Neighbors call her #1 wife, as she let me get the Cobra, and theirs, not so much!

I turn 64 this summer I think.I see you are in NH,we live a little West of Portland, Maine in Windham. If you ever want to head in this direction give a shout maybe we can head toward you,and meet for a coffee. That is if I'm not working the wife is retired,I still look forward to work every day.

I'm 32 and purchased my first Cobra in December of 2011. I've been wanting to build one for 7 or 8 years....while that's still very appealing to me I don't have the patience and am glad I went with a completed build so I can enjoy it now.

47. Car should be completed in 4 weeks or so. Won't be 47 years before I get a second one.

I was 44 when I ordered it from Shelby, 46 when it arrived, and 47 when I sold it.
Glad I owned one.

I take delivery of Backdraft 1109 from Vintage next week and I turned 27 in March.

After an unsuccessful and disappointing attempt at buying back my old 2003 Mustang Cobra last year, I figured that I would swing for the car that I really wanted. And it's been a long year deciding exactly what that special car was.

It was an odd day today, when my Uncle, an avid muscle car collector at 60, asked the question..."So wait, it has NO windows???".

Was 44 yrs old when wanting a V8 motorcycle at the time the kit was $10k thought that was a little too much,so bought my Cobra 1993.Lost my career job the next year, finished the car the year after that and still anxious every time we are ready for a ride.Did sell our Harley after buying the kit, once the car was finished got back into Harleys but groundup built them with big inch motors and the drivetrains to support them.

I'm 64. Saw my first Cobra at S&C Ford in San Francisco 1965. Love at first sight. Just as beautiful in 2012 as it was in 65.
