Finishline
Curt: Great job on the pictures, and I agree, it's a good-looking shop, someplace where I would enjoy working. Neat, clean, and organized. I hope this fiasco with Dwaynes car will prompt all involved to get their business practices neat, clean, and organized!!
If a "Special Delivery" can be worked out when the car is delivered, it will be great for Dwayne's moral,so thanks to the guys up in the NWCC area for their efforts.
Cancer is just the worst! It seems like everyone is affected by it these days! My wife has been battling lung cancer for a year, and everytime we go to the oncologists office it's standing room only,
parking lot overflowing!!
I don't think there is any specific point at which you know you are a cancer "survivor", you just keep fighting the battle one day at a time, and never give up hope!!
I've got to think that with that beautiful nasty Cobra sitting in his garage, Dwayne will have something positive to look at, drive (or ride in), fondle , or just think about every day, and it will help keep his spirits up!
Dwayne: be just as tough as your Cobra!!
DANNY: has anyone looked into alternative treatments??.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Just spoke with Ted at Shelby Motors who will be the transporting Dwayne's car to him in Port Orford.
As it stands right now the schedule is to leave Las Vegas on Monday morning, which will put him overnight in Roseburg on Tuesday, and making the final leg from Roseburg to Dwayne's in Port Orford on Wednesday. Roseburg to Port Orford is 160 miles on secondary roads and Ted will be hauling an enclosed 3-car trailer (about 70 ft.) which means at least 3 hours if not a little more.
As it stands right now I'll be taking Wed. off and possibly Tue. afternoon to make the run from Portland to Port Orford (5-6 hours 300 miles) to pick up Ted as he comes through and travel the last mile or so to Dwayne's.
As it stands right now we have an escort of one. Is there anyone else out there who would be interested in joining me?
I know it’s Oregon in the middle of January, which means there will probably be some rain, and the temperatures will be in the 40’s at best on the way down. Port Orford is forecast for upper 50’s and cloudy on Tue. and Wed. I’m in the minority since I have a top and side curtains so I can make trips like this but I’d welcome the company of anyone else that would like to make the trip.
If you’re interested you can contact me via email at:
CWILL1958@COMCAST.NET
Or by phone at 503-823-7628 daytime or 503-655-0203 evenings.
The schedule is still somewhat tenuous but this is what I’ve got to work with at this point. I’ll be in touch with Ted as this progresses and will post updates whenever I get them.

DonC,
That's great. I hope you get a small parade together for the delivery.

Don,
I will enroute to, or arriving in AZ on Wednesday making a Serpent Express delivery. Can not make the run.
Tim Laughlin has a top on his car; you might give him a call. Or one could use your Serpent Express most of the way.
Do good.

Hello All,
I came in just to see how the car came out and was holding my breath with anticipation and praying everything was perfect. I could not even find on the displayed board so must be missing something or a new post was started. With all the prayers and good thoughts I know everything is as promised and delivered on the 15th of Jan. What is the latest?

... and there is speculation it might possibly, just a slight chance, be raining in Oregon in January.
Ya think?

I was at Finishline on Thursday and had the pleasure of checking the progress on Dwayne's car!
The car looked fantastic!!!!!!!
They started the car for me and it sounded awesome. All they had left was the installation of the headlight trim rings and finish the alignment. I was told the car was leaving for Oregon on Saturday but I see that has changed. I think Dwayne will be extremely pleased with the results.
A picture is worth a thousand words!!!!!!!!!!!!

God bless you Dwayne and enjoy!!!!!!!!

Kingair... no change...
The addresses you posted are not picture files, nor have you uploaded anything recently to your Gallery.
Can you upload the pics to your Gallery... I will fix the links if you do.

Hang in there, Ron and I are trying to solve the puzzle. Don't really know what happened. I am going to email to Hogdealer so he can show Dwayne while Ron is trying to upload the photos for all.
