This thread would not be complete without the video of Scott Coyle driving his Hi-Tech Cobra at Road America.....
http://www.greatsportscars.com/RoadAmerica.html

It is probably one of the best set up Cobra track cars out there, and is still streetable!!!

Did I mention that it is also for sale??

Here's my 10.91 @ 128.75 DA 2100ft pass. I think I could do a few tenths better.

Greg, that was an outstanding pass. I enjoyed watching that about five times! Thanks for the post.

Not a Cobra video, but here's the Infamous "I was seventh" video:

http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...eoid=593923338

They say the guy still wakes up screaming "I WAS SEVENTH!!!"

Cheers!

Ken is friend of us from the race track. Really nice guy and a terrific racer which is what makes that video even more funny.

Ok. Here are some of our racing videos:

This is the widely-seen start from the back of the field where I then miss the flag and have to make up some spots.
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=1763799033

This is from the 2005 FFR Nationals exhibition race. This is from inside Brian Cates' car. I'm directly in front of him and move through traffic:
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=1750826952

Brian Cates, Paul Kaiser, and myself playing on Summit Point's Shenandoah Circuit. Close racing and watch the cars 'hop' into the bowl:
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=1750982870

In this one I screw up the turn (we were still sorting and learning the car) and hit the wall with the Daytona Coupe:

On the banking of Charlotte you keep telling yourself "physics works! physics works!"
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=1763718917

Start of the Cobra race at Road Atlanta. Factory Five COO Dave Riha and I went back and forth the entire race. No quarter given here!

The start of a race at Summit Point with the Daytona Coupe:

Trying to ring out everything I can get out of the car at Summit Point on the start:

I have to go to Circuit City and buy a new keyboard. Spilled my rum and coke over it.

I cannot tell a lie....

...the credit all goes to a fellow Crankoid, John W, who filmed this with a lipstick camera mounted in the grill of his Lotus Elise. He also overdubbed the footage with the infamous F1 .wav file found all over the Internet.

The footage is of our beloved Cranky in the toe and sole of the boot at Watkins Glen.
