Default AC owners club day 2006

Hi guys, my family and i drove down to Chichester for the AC owners club day today. Beautiful crisp weather with just a nip in the air. Had a chat with Club Cobra members Hurricane Harold and Trevor Legate, nice to see them.
Lots of superb cars and some guest cars of all types. I was a bit lazy really , my wife was taking pictures and my son was videoing.
Below, believed to be a Kirkham, not sure, need more info.

AC ME3000

This original Cobra finished 2nd recently at the Goodwood Revival

Thumbs up

Paul,it was nice seeing you again yesterday, and good to have a chat again, regards the fist photo, which you think is a Kirkham Cobra,as I said yesterday when I spoke to you, this is a Kirkham bodied car with parts sourced from AC to complete the car,I spoke to the guy who was driving it and the car is his fathers,he owns a few AC cars,

But hey wat a gorgeous replica,it certainly fooled me when I first saw it,how do I post some pics to this thread,as Ive got some nice photo`s of the car on the track, shame we didnt have a chat at the Revival, but Im sure we will again at the next AC meet at Goodwood, let me know how you get on with the "Teddy Tree Bagger King Cobra".......

Very Cheesy side graphics on the Southern Roadcraft Cobra replica, which incidently is owned by one of the marshals at the AC meeting,he obviously knows his stuf,as he asked me if Peter Voights AC 289 had a 351 Cleveland fitted...

Great photo`s Paul, even if you weren`t holding the camera! You`re a lucky chap, having a wife & kids that share your interests!
My favourite pics are of the red Ace (PLU 303) & the Allard, check out that PATINA!!!! But I`ll bet you there`s not a grease nipple that`s been spared it`s dose this month, or the month before that.....
Hurricane, I`m with you on the graphics, but to each his own, eh?
Maybe I`ll see you there next year. (How many years have I been saying that???!!!)

Yeah, I was watching some Formula Ford from here on MotorsTV today, it was the last meeting before the upgrades. It`s a nice little circuit, but let`s hope the improvements actually improve it! They`d better leave the hairpin alone, very hard to judge, easy to get wrong!
