This is a great new tag that Brent has added to the system... it will make sharing videos-to-view a lot cleaner, since the video will show in a panel right inside your post...as opposed to the old way, where a URL link had to open a new browser window in order to view the video.
Here is a simple How-To to get you started:
First, go to YouTube and find the video that you want to include in a post.
If you look in the Address bar of your browser...you will see the link for your video.
The coded number after the watch?v= is the library file number of the video you are currently viewing.
Just highlight all after the v=, by click-and-dragging across the number.
Now, point to the highlighted area and right-click, then choose Copy.
You have now "grabbed" the video file name.
Next, go start the post where you want to share the video.
At the point in the post where you want the video panel to appear, set up a set of YT tags...one without the slash...one with, as shown
Last...point your cursor right in between the tags and right-click, then choose Paste
Now Submit the post and ...bingo...imbedded video.
Have fun..

wow IT,s the ****s. oh the co owner is a grad of my university and was to meet him at a foundation dinner the week they sold the company and had to take a rain check, hope he comes with a big check !!!!
Is there any way for me to modify the YT tag parameters to change the size of the YouTube display when posting on a forum? More and more cameras are going to the 16:9 ratio with HD and the YT default parameters are the old 4:3 ratio. YouTube now allows HD uploads and I feel that is where the future is.
